May 14: The Coventry Animal Shelter has recently found an all white, blind and deaf female cat in the Tiogue Avenue/Williams Street area of town.

The sweet girl has a great disposition, purrs constantly and has no other obvious health issues.

Animal Control Officer Matt McCormick believes the kitty to be between 5-8 years old and thinks that she may have escaped her home.

"She is just an all around good cat and we're currently looking for her owners before we move forward with trying to adopt her out," he said.
