Five Things You Need To Know Today, September 6

Today is Thursday, Sept. 6. Here are five Coventry-related things that you should know about.

 

 

SAT Deadline: Reminder to CHS seniors taking the SAT in October - the registration deadline is September 7 (Friday). Register online at www.collegeboard.org.

Senior Center Bocce: The Coventry Senior Center (50 Wood St.) now has a Bocce court. Come play today at 3 p.m.

Community Blood Drive: Save a life, or three by donating blood today at Dunkin Donuts (2251 New London Tpke.) between 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Card League: The Coventry-West Greenwich Elks Lodge (42 Nooseneck Hill Rd., West Greenwich) will begin ints Fall Pitch Card League today at 6:30 p.m. and will continue on Thursdays until mid-January. Cost is $5 per person per week. All adults welcome. 

Convention Watch Party: Coventry resident, Sandra Richard is hosting a Watch Party this evening at 8 p.m. for neighbors who would like to watch President Obama accept the nomination at the 2012 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte. Be sure to click here for details and to RSVP.
