LVKC Tutors: All Literacy Volunteers of Kent County are invited to explore new reading and writing strategies to enhance lessons plans. The Inservice meeting will be held tonight, Oct. 22 at the Coventry Department of Human Services (50 Wood St.) from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Refreshments will be provided.

CHS Lacrosse: Parents of Coventry High School Boys Lacrosse players are invited to an informational meeting tonight from 6-8 p.m. in Room 204 of the high school. At the meeting, critical planning and fundraising for the self-funded 2013 spring season will be discussed.
Greene Vampire Presentation: The Greene Public Library (Hopkins Hollow Rd., Greene) is hosting Dr. Michael Bell, author of Food for the Dead: On the Trail of New England's Vampires on Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 6 p.m. Dr. Bell will unravel the mystery of little-known, so-called vampires who survived in the remote areas of New England.
