Five Things You Need To Know Today, November 1
Today is Tuesday, November 1. Here are five things you need to know:
CHS Flu Clinic: The Department of Health will hold its annual flu clinic today from 8 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Coventry High School for students, faculty and staff.
Partners In Play: Parents and their children ages 2-5 can join in this special playgroup at the Community Center that will foster the development of the child's gross motor skills. Activities will include hopping, skipping, balancing and other creative movements.
Storytime - Brand New Picture Books: Stop by the Warwick Barnes & Noble at 10:30 a.m. to check out this month's new releases! Miss Jaime will be reading the newest preschool picture books and making a special craft following Storytime!
Adult Mens Basketball: Men age 18 and up (no high school students) can participate in basketball at the Feinstein Middle School tonight 5:30-8:30 p.m. ($15 for fall season.) Men age 40 and up can participate in basketball at the Flat River Gym (across from Town Hall) from 6-8 p.m. ($10 for fall season.)
Women's Empowerment Group: Stop by The Enchanted Patch from 7:30-8:30 p.m. for a free presentation with presentations by speakers on energy work, the law of attraction, reiki, crystals, herbal alternatives, meditation and more.
