Five Things You Need To Know Today, May 21

Today is Monday, May 21. Here are five things you need to know:

 

 

Basketball/Tennis Registration: The Coventry Department of Parks and Recreation will hold its 2012 Summer Basketball/Tennis Program registration today from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. in the Community Center.

Wellness Week Walk: To kick off the district-wide Wellness Week, teachers, students and families from Blackrock School will participate in an energizing walk around the school at 9 a.m.

Shingles Clinic Registration: The Coventry Senior Center will be holding a Shingles Vaccination Clinic tomorrow from 10-11:30 a.m. To check insurance coverage and schedule an appointment time, call 401-490-0942.

Community Garden Volunteers: There are many plants that need to be planted today before the rain returns. Report to the Community Garden in front of the Town Hall Annex this morning at 9 a.m. if you'd like to help! Even if you can't get to the garden, vote at www.deloachcommunitygardens.com for a $4,000 grant!

Board of Canvassers Meeting: The Board will meet at 2 p.m. today at Town Hall to approve the voters list for the upcoming Financial Town Meeting being held on June 12.
