Five Things You Need To Know Today, July 16
Today is Monday, July 16. Here are five things you need to know:
Help Me Help You: Well, summer is in full swing, which means no school, no budget hearings and limited municipal meetings. SO, let me know what you would like to see on Coventry Patch! Have a tip or coverage idea? Send it along to lauren.costa@patch.com and I'll reach out to you!
Steak Fry Reservations: The Coventry Men's Club will hold a Steak Fry and Chicken Dinner on July 20 at 7 p.m. with live music to follow. A steak dinner is $12.99, chicken $10.99. Reservations must be made by July 18 by calling 385-3536.
Plan Ahead: The Ronald McDonald Show comes to the Coventry Public Library on Tuesday, July 17th at 11:00 a.m. as part of the Summer Reading Program. Come and meet your favorite clown! No registration required.
Greene Comic Artist: Do you like reading comic books? How would you like to help create one? Join Eric Fulford on Tuesday, July 17 at 6 p.m. at Greene Library as he uses ideas from the audience to draw and tell the story of a brand new comic book hero! Featuring comedy, cartoons, and plenty of creativity, audience members of any age can enjoy the fun. Call 397-3873 to ensure availibility.
"Like" Us! Do you spend a lot of time on Facebook? Get frequent updates from Coventry Patch while you play Farmville, stalk your exes and procrastinate about whatever it is you should be doing! Click here to "Like" us now! (My goal is to hit 1,000 "likes" by August 1st!)
