Five Things You Need To Know Today, January 26

Today is Thursday, Jan. 26. Here are five things you need to know:

 

 


(Tomorrow) Blackrock School Mix & Match Day: Blackrock students are invited to donate $1.00 (or as much as they can give) and "bee" creative by wearing mismatched clothes to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.

Coventry PD December Safety Event: The Coventry Police Department will host a free Child Seat Installation and Kids Workshop from 12-3 p.m. at Family Fitness Zone (633 Washington St.)

Library Drop-In Crafts: Children of all ages are welcome to drop-in at the Coventry Public Library on Thursday afternoons from 3-5 p.m. and make a craft to take home.

Card League: Stop by the Coventry-West Greenwich Elks Lodge (42 Nooseneck Hill Rd., West Greenwich) from 6-9 p.m. to try your hand at cards. The cost is $5 per week plus $1 for the raffle pot. Greene Public Library Adult Book Club: The Greene Library (179 Hopkins Hollow Rd., Greene) will host an Adult Book Club from 6-7 p.m. this evening. The selection to be discussed will be When She Woke by Hillary Jordan. Call 397-3873 for more information
