Five Things You Need To Know Today, August 20

Greenway Section Closed: Beginning today, RIDOT will close off a section of the Coventry Greenway for reconstruction from Station Street to the area of Town Farm Road, where the path transitions to an undeveloped trail. Click here for more information.

CLL Fall Ball Registration: Coventry Little League is now accepting registration for its 2012 Fall Ball program that begins August 20. Children ages 8 to 11 are eligible to participate. Cost is $ 40.00 per player or $75.00 for a family. Click here for registration info or see the attached PDF form.

West Bay Chorale: The West Bay Chorale is looking for new members to join their first rehersal on Aug. 27 at 7 p.m. No auditions necessary! Click here for more information.

Greene Homestead Tours: The historic 1770 homestead of Revolutionary War General Nathanael Greene (50 Taft St., Coventry) is now open for tours. Today's visiting hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $5/adult, $3 child. Visit www.nathanelgreenehomestead.org for more info.
