Five Things You Need To Know Today, August 15
Today is Monday, August 15. Here are five things you need to know:
Tennis for Seniors: Coventry Parks and Recreation presents "Tennis for Seniors" (60+), beginning today and continuing through Oct. 3. Participants will meet Mondays at 9 a.m. and the Paine Field tennis courts and will get paired up with players of similar abilities. For more information, call 822-9107.
Senior Center Bingo: Coventry seniors are invited to play Bingo in the Senior Center Meal Site room at 6 p.m.
Co-Ed Adult Volleyball: An adult volleyball program for men and women (no high school students) will be held at Central Coventry Park, (Phillips Hill Road) from 6-8 p.m. Registration for this program will happen at the court. This program is free and for Coventry residents only. (Please bring a form of resident identification.)
Emergency Rabies Clinic: Because of last week's rabid cat incident, Coventry Animal Control is holding an emergency rabies clinic tonight from 6-7 p.m. at animal shelter (1666 Flat River Rd.) The cost is $15 per animal and owners are asked to have their cats in carriers and dogs on leashes.
Register for Molar Express: The Molar Express will be in Coventry tomorrow! Be sure to make an appointment for your child (21 and under) by calling Erin at the Coventry Housing Authority at 828-4367.
