Economic Development Commission Seeks Feedback from Coventry Business Community
Business owners will have the chance to share their views with public officials at the Jan. 30 event.
The Coventry Economic Development Commission is seeking feedback from the Coventry business community to plan 2013 initiatives in hopes of enhancing existing businesses and attracting new ones to the Town.
The Commission is interested in hearing from existing businesses located in Coventry on ways the committee can support them in their efforts to increase employment, expand an existing business, or provide support in obtaining local and federal grants.
Attendees should bring their ideas to the Commission on Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Coventry Town Hall (1670 Flat River Rd.)
"The Coventry Economic Development Commission is committed to improving the business climate in Coventry by helping local business improve their bottom line and prosper," wrote Chairman Arthur G. Capaldi in a community announcement. "To accomplish this it is necessary to hear from you an obtain your thoughts and opinions as to how we can jointly accomplish those goals."
"This is your time to speak out and tell the Town what you think as a business owner in the Town," Capaldi continued.
