Dave is a full time firefighter in Coventry. He also runs a landscape/construction co. If elected Dave will have to take time off from his company and from the FD. We arnt really worried about his private company because its funded by his customers and he can adjust that, but his real job is taxpayer funded.
.
My question for Dave is:
.
Will the taxpayers of CCFD have to pay you your salary and pay a replacement for you, who will be called in on overtime for the shifts you are going to miss while you are at the State House?
.
You do not have enough vacation time to cover the whole session so please give us an answer Dave are how you and the department are going to handle the missed shifts.
How many nights per month do you work now?
How much will it cost to bring in a Captain or acting Captain on OT to cover your shifts or a 1/2 portion of your shifts?
.
These are not hard questions Bill and Dave. The taxpayers who you whish to represent and protect deserve and answer.
.
If we elect you what's it going to cost the district?
