Due to the recent school cancellations, school picture sessions at Coventry Public Schools were forced to be rescheduled.
Coventry High students should have originally had their photos taken on September first and second, but will now be next Wedneday and Friday.
The district schedule is as follows:
September 7 – Coventry High and Hopkins Hill
September 9 – Coventry High
September 13 – Blackrock
September 15 – Alan Shawn Feinstein Middle
September 19 – Western Coventry
October 3 – Washington Oak
October 27 – Tiogue
CHS Principal Michael Hobin noted in an e-mail to high school parents this afernoon that he was aware that the change was short notice, but the town's other option would have been November. He explained that if pictures were taken that late, underclassmen at the high school would not be included in the yearbook.
Parents Note: If you choose to purchase your child's picture, payment is required at the time of the order. Regardless of payment, all students (including seniors) will be photographed for student IDs and (underclass) yearbook pictures.
