Police say Justin Clare's car hydroplaned on Thursday morning.

At approximately 9:20 a.m. on Thursday, Bourne and Massachusetts State Police responded to a crash on MacArthur Blvd. (Route 28), in Bourne, MA for a car that had crashed into a utility pole.

Upon arrival, authorities found Justin Clare, 25, of Coventry, trapped in his 1997 Volkswagen Golf. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to capecodonline.com, the vehicle appeared to have hydroplaned, hitting the live electrical pole and splitting it in two. NStar crews arrived on-scene shortly after to shut off power to the area to allow rescuers access to Clare.

I as well as all the staff and residents at Falmouth Care and Rehab express our deepest sympathies to Jason's family and girlfriend. Although he only worked with us for such a short time he made a huge impact on everyone he came in contact with, He was a dedicated young man who worked very hard. He will be greatly missed.
