The Town of Coventry Emergency Management Staff (EMA) in cooperation with all Emergency Response Agencies, the Department of Public Works and Human Services Agencies of the Town of Coventry are maintaining services during the aftermath of Winter Storm Nemo.
Emergency response by fire, police, department of public works and human services support is prepared and ready to respond to the community’s needs. Please understand that travel remains difficult after this storm. This also applies to Emergency Vehicles.
1. A warming center at the Coventry Senior Center (50 Wood St.) is still open and available to residents without power on Saturday.
2. Coventry residents are still experiencing power outages (less than 600 customers) and town officials are working with National Grid to restore power.
3. Please stay off all roadways. Police, Fire, Plow crews and National Grid crews require unrestricted movement throughout our community. Travel restrictions are in place.
