Coventry EMA Offers Last of Free Bottled Water to Residents

The last of the cases can be picked from 2-5 p.m.

Due to the sizable number of residences without power to their well water systems, The Town of Coventry Emergency Management Agency (EMA) would like to inform the community of the following:

The town's Point of Dispensing (POD) site that was active Tuesday and Wednesday is longer be operational, but the remaining cases of water will be available to residents from 2-5 p.m. at the Coventry EOC (1675 Flat River Road, across from Town Hall) at the entrance located on Walker Lane.

EMA personnel will be on site, however the loading of cases (2 per vehicle), will be self-serve. The EMA asks for discretion so that the remaining water is distributed to those most in need. This will be the last offering of water from the town as local stores have all been replenished.

Non-potable (not fit for drinking) water is available around the clock at the Western Coventry Fire station located on Victory Highway.  Please bring your own container to transport the water home.
