On Thursday, July 26, the Coventry American 11/12 All-Star team defeated Cranston West by a score of 4-3 to take home the title of RI State Champions!

The team will now head to Bristol, CT to participate from August 3-9 in the New England Regional Little League Tournament, the winner of which advances to the 2012 Little League Baseball World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

There will be a public send-off reception for the Coventry American Little League 11/12 All-Stars, 2012 Rhode Island State Champions, at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 1, at the Wood Street Field behind the Department of Human Services. Come cheer on your local champions!
