On Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, the Coventry Cobras took home the Boys U10 A League Soccer Championship at the Wide World of Indoor Sports South indoor complex in North Kingstown.

To start the day, the Cobras, who earned the #1 seed and a first round bye heading into the playoffs with a 7-0-1 record, beat a team from Ocean State soccer in the semi-final game by a score of 5-1.

This put them into the finals with a solid team from Warwick Fire Fighters soccer. The boys won a well-contested match 3-2 to take home the trophy. Fans witnessed a tremendous effort from both teams!
