The Coventry Housing Associates Corporation, a non-profit developer of affordable housing, is looking for residents who may wish to serve on the volunteer Board now and in the future.
Our mission is to secure resources (both physical and financial) for the creation of housing opportunities within the Town of Coventry to meet the housing needs underserved in our community. Our work has included the Homeward Bound program, lease to purchase program for low to moderate income families; a Down Payment & Closing Cost assistance program for the purchase of single family homes in our community; and, the construction of 110 affordable housing rental units in three developments. We have also purchased existing properties, provided rehab, and reused the properties for affordable housing.
