The Coventry High School Boys Interscholastic Lacrosse Team is the ONLY 100% SELF-FUNDED varsity sports program at the high school.

The team DOES NOT RECEIVE ANY FUNDING from the school department therefore the team must rely on the generosity of its friends, family and corporate sponsors to survive. With nearly 50 players ranging from freshmen to seniors playing at the high school, the cost to field this varsity squad is substantial. Furthermore, with over 200 lacrosse players in the growing Coventry Youth Lacrosse program, there is no doubt that lacrosse will soon become one of, if not - THE biggest sport at Coventry High School within the next few years.

The formula is simple = without the needed funds, the boys lacrosse team will be discontinued.
